The Nordic military shooting championship (NMSC) is in principle organized every year based on an agreement between military sports organizations in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Championships will be arranged in the following order: Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

GRAND PRIX OF LIBERATION 2014

10312573_756637447702195_2624893262753337161_nMany CISM sport shooters have participated in the Grand Prix of Liberation in Plzen, Czech Republic where we used to participate in a CISM tournament one week before this grat match.

NOR military rifle team

Norway was present with a new women rifle team with Hanne Skarpodde. In pistol our CISM Champion Pål Hembre was taking medals home. Coach Hallgeir Huse helped us with the pictures.

69th General Assembly CISM 2014

IMG_4656President PCSC President CISM Shooting and Lt Col Abdul Hakeem Mohamed Alshano (Bahrain) shortly after Lt. Col Abdul Hakeem Mohamed Alshano was elected with 44 of the 79 votes on the new CISM presidents .

Result of the talks from the PCSC shooting during the 69th CISM GA 2014 in Quito. Many discussions were held with various nations because in 2013 and 2014 no MWC in shooting where held. So there is a clear trend is emerging that besides the already confirmed MWC shooting in 2016 ( Qatar ) for the years 2017 and 2018 Nations have agreed to organize a MWC in shooting.

69th General Assembly CISM 2014

IMG_4656President PCSC Shooting und President CISM Lt Col Abdul Hakeem Mohamed Alshano (Bahrain) kurz nachdem Lt Col Abdul Hakeem Mohamed Alshano mit 44 der 79 Stimmen zum neuen CISM presidenten gewählt wurde.

Resultat der Gespräche vom PCSC Shooting während der 69th CISM GA 2014 in Quito. Es wurden viele Gespräche mit diversen Nationen geführt und nachdem in den Jahren 2013 und 2014 keine MWC in Shooting statt gefunden haben. So zeichnet sich ein klarer Trend ab, dass neben der bereits bestätigten MWC Shooting in 2016 (Qatar) für die Jahre 2017 und 2018 Nationen sich bereit erklärt haben eine MWC in Shooting zu organisieren.

69th CISM Congress & General Assembly

The working groups of the 69th CISM Congress and General Assembly have started, on Monday, the 5th of May in the morning. The Sports Commissions leaded by his president Lcl Walter Borghino and the PCSC meeting headed by the colonel Jorge Ribeiro were held in the Marriott Hotel in Quito. They talked about sports calendars of 2014 and of the following years, of the rules, of the new sports to put in the calendar and of the vacancy of some PCSC.
At the same time, the CISM President, the Secretary General and the 4 continental presidents were in a cemetery for a military ceremony with the highest Ecuadorian authorities. Afterwards, the Ecuadorian President of the Republic, Rafael Correa, has received the CISM representatives at the Presidency House.
