It became two gold medals, five silver and three bronze for the Danish Defence, as the Nordic Military Championship in shooting was settled by Karelia Brigade in Vekaranjärvi in Finland in late June.
Nurse Pia Villemoes from FSU became Nordic champion in the sport pistol while the other gold medal went to the team of military rapid fire pistol, while the other gold medal went to the team of military rapid fire pistol.

Letter of courtessy

letter Bruno to Daniel  Under the motto of CISM “Friendship Through Sport” and according to the CISM Policy Manual, the Chief of Mission should, up on return to his country, address a letter of courtessy to the organising delegation through his Chief of Delegation.

Here you see the  Letter to Lt Col Siegenthaler that Colonel Bruno Wolfensberger,  president of CISM Sport Committee Shooting, has sent to thank Swiss CISM team, Civil Protection of Thun and  Swiss Shooting Sport federation for a championship that has met high results and left good memories.

The CSC Shooting encourages the participating countries to let the Swiss delegation know what you have experienced in Thun.

 

What is CISM all about?

eThe International Military Sports Council IMSC or Organisation Conseil International du Sport Militaire CISM was founded on 18 February 1948 in Nice, France, by five countries: Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
With 134 member states today, it has become one of the most important sports associations in the world.
An objective of the association is to encourage the broad-based development of military sports and promote friendly relations between armed forces and between member states. It supports athletes from less privileged countries in the fields of sport and advocates the progressive and harmonious development of young people. In particular, the CISM organisation wishes to contribute to the global efforts for peace in general. 

The CISM motto is:  
FRIENDSHIP THROUGH SPORT”
