Focus and concentration

ChristinaBDear fellow shooters!

As part of my interest for focus and concentration, and in the context of my research method studies at Lund University, I need the following help:

Test participants who will carry out a simple, 4-minute long web-based test – the Sustained Attention to Response Task.

To take part you should be either:

  • Between 20 and 70 years of age and “an active shooter”.

The aim is essentially to determine whether trained shooting brains differ in the capacity for sustained attention or not. This is a step in a wider research perspective.

The test results will be directly supplied to Millisecond Software. For this reason they are completely anonymous and no result can be connected to the individual, or to the computer from which the test has been carried out.

If you wish to help, please simply write me an e-mail: christina.bengtsson@live.se

Instructions will follow relatively soon. Deadline for participation – 29th of April 2015.

Thank You,

Christina Bengtsson

Korea in April

LCol Driever and Capt Bouman of the Netherlands delegation to CISM visited the venues (Korean Armed Forces Athletics Centre’ ( KAFAC ) in Mungyeong) that will be in use at the 6th WMG in Korea. Here are some pictures of the shooting ranges and venues at this moment. As you can see some work will be needed before our athletes can break a few CISM records. The Korean delegation is working hard to accomplish this  together with the CISM Sport Commitee Shooting and other sports. Pictures are made by Johan Bouman.
