3rd CISM Cadet Games… to be continued

In two weeks the CISM GA will be held in Punta Cana and Indonesia will present the “new”  3rd CISM Cadet Games proposal. These Games could be held in October, but the General Assembly and Indonesian Organiser have to come to an understanding.

Meanwhile the CSC Shooting will update information and contacts and inform the OC of the Cadet Games what it looks like in CISM Shooting.

After the final decision is taken, and the Games will go on, you will be informed by this website.
Major General Sodic from Indonesia (Chief of the OC) will most possibly come to Switzerland for the 50th MWC, which gives the possibility to talk directly to him to fix all the open points in Shooting.

Meanwhile we received the information that the Shooting Range is ready, 20 new lines in 300m including a rebuild Range and 20 new combined 25 / 50 m range with a new building. Check out the latest pictures as all this is newly built.

Bronze for Anna Normann (SWE) in R8 Women’s 3p

Message from our special reporter Liam Crawford (IRL)at the Para Shooting World Cup in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates:
Our CISM friend Anna Normann of Sweden in the R8 Women’s 50m Rifle – 3p here in Al Ain, UAE. Her first WSPS Final; Anna Normann won the Bronze medal!

Those who have been attending the CISM Regional in Thun, Switzerland 2017 will be aware of Anna limping to the winners podium. Unfortunately, her foot injury is not getting better. Anna has been classified this week as an SH1a Paralympic shooter. Wasting no time she started her first match in R3 10m mixed prone yesterday finishing in the middle of the field at 24th. Today Anna shot the R8 Women’s Three Position match finishing qualification in Third and going on to retain third place in the final. Anna has two events remaining in this World Cup but already she has made her mark in World Shooting Para Sports. Delighted for her. Friendship through Sports.

Intershoot (NL) 2018

In The Hague (Netherlands) the Intershoot championship is held every year in February. This 1st, 2nd and 3rd, the Ockenburgh sports hall was filled up to the roof and a few athletes had to be disappointed as the event exceeded it’s capacity. For many years CISM Shooting friends participated in this event, and 2018 is no exception to that rule!
Have a look if you recognise a few shooting sport friends from Brazil, Portugal, India, Japan, Belgium, Norway, Denmark or… (this message will be updated as soon as there are photo albums online)
Day 1  Day 2 and Day 3 (Arno Brinkman)
Day 3 (Edwin Raats) Day 1-3 (Frank Streng)

Watch it LIVE from the webcams or follow the results LIVE (only during the event))
